Light + Byte in Zurich Switzerland is a distributor for professional photo- and digitalimaging equipment with 13 employees. As this company always had a very clean focus on storing names and sending out directmail to their customers, a move toward email-marketing was a logical expansion. Light + Byte started early to collect email addresses from our customers. So we own today a database of approx. 3.100 valid e-mail addresses. We used another directmail service before we found Newsmailservice.
I personally produce all the direct mails and e-mails. I love the Newsmailservice system as I am able to import and maintain the already collected names. Additionally the system can self-generate mail-lists, which is a great tool for small companies, who do not have the capabilities for online database systems.
I am using his Newsmailservice 1-3 times a month, to promote new items, announce workshops and send invitations to events. The response from the customers is great. They accept the email messages from Light + Byte very well and there are always only between 3-8 unsubscriptions on each mail with 3.000 names.
I create my own HTML mails and can easily copy and paste these mails into the Newsmailservice. As the system is also able to export email-addresses, we can match new subscribers with our FileMaker Pro administration system and can reimport all new addresses into Newsmailservice.
